Zoë is experienced in providing consultative family centered practice, recognizing that parents play the most important role in their child's development.
Home Based ServicesZoë works with the student and families to find the best way to develop speech and language skills, this could be with consults and a home program with resources, monthly, bi-weekly or weekly therapy. Parents remain an integral part of all sessions so they can use the strategies between therapy sessions.
Zoë has provided assessment and consultative or weekly therapy sessions for Autism Funding Unit, At Home Program (MCF), Self Design Learning community and Heritage Christian online school.
Private SchoolsWhen invited by Principals to provide speech and language services for their schools, Zoë often offers a consultative model working primarily with the school based team to support teachers and educational assistants in developing speech and language skills. Weekly Speech-Language Pathology is available as appropriate.
Zoë welcomes referrals of pre-school and school aged students for a discussion of their speech and language needs to find individual therapy solutions that work for the whole family.
